Zune Release Date : No Zune in Europe before the end of 2007
According to mcvuk.com, seeing the Zune anywhere around Europe in the next couple of months is unlikely. Although the Zune is on track for its US release on November 14th, it will miss the lucrative Christmas market in Europe, at least this year. One reason for the delay is apparently to be that Microsoft has had no one to head up the European launch.
Microsoft recently appointed head of Zune International and he will be building relationships across the world. “They will be working on rolling out the Zune in Europe with its compatible Zune Marketplace,” said Dene Schonknecht, media and entertainment alliance manager at Microsoft. “We haven’t yet selected a music store provider to build marketplace in the UK, which means we’re way off launch.”

I live in the US and I already have a Zune player it is awsome though I bet in the same year as Europe luanches the Zune it is going to have a launch in Japan too well this means both the European launch and the Japanese launch are going to be at the same time and in the same year.
Well I am planning to go to Japan and I bet I will find a Zune in Japan well I guess that by the time that Zune is out in Europe then Microsoft will look for Italy to design the Zune just to really embarass iPod in design because those Italians do really kick ass when it comes to design.
