Zune Software Screenshots
Best Buy is running a flash demo of the Zune with many screenshots of the Zune software. We still don’t know if the software is really going to be called the “Zune software”, but what we can understand from the screenshots is that the Zune marketplace is going to be embedded in the Zune software exactly like iPod/iTunes.
You can see on the right side of the image that the software is going to be bi-directional and will be able to tell how much space you still have available in your Zune. Bi-directionality could be a very interesting aspect the Zune could bring over the iPod. We know that we will have the “Zune sharing history” downloaded from your Zune to the software. But now we know that disk space availability will also be part of it.
It would be amazing if battery charging level, tagging, deleted content or category change done directly on the Zune could be synchronised with the database on your computer. Anyone that ever used a Blackberry knows how bi-directional systems can be really fun to use. Can you also imagine now if the synchronisation could be done via the Wi-fi connection? Any thoughts?

Seing is believing! So much deception with the Wifi connection so far. I agree that a real 2 way communication would be great. I'm not to sure about the battery level.

I don't understand why Microsoft isn't using the WIFI feature to it's fullest. I want email, IM, and the ability to send songs through the internet on the Zune. Hopefully they have these features by next year, through firware updates, if not they will be dead!

Those screens look a lot like WMP 11 with the album library. Which is good because I use WMP for organising all my music.
