Zune Firmware Update 1.2 Available Now

Connect your Zune to your PC now for a firmware update! Don’t expect new features from this update, the Zune firmware update is only providing enhance stability and performance. I updated to fimware version 1.2 the day after i bought my zune.. The update screwed up the display settings for the backlight.. it doesnt go out now even if you set it properly in the settings.. the backlight stays on constantly.. It eats the battery.. I dont know if you are listening to this microsoft, but it's probably a nice bug.. I had other issues with the zune software on the pc.. it wouldn't let me delete all the songs from the library.. After install it automatically finds all the songs in your my documents folder and puts them in the library.. Not something i wanted it to do.. I deleted all the songs from the library or I should say i tried to.. Everything but one was gone and i could not for the life of me remove it.. I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled which is when it updated my zune firmware and screwed up the backlight settings.. Song importing was a pain too.. Music would show up as 2 or 3 different albums on the pc in the zune software, but would show up as one album on the player.. I got fed up with all the hassel so i just returned it.. It's a shame because I really was excited about it because it offered some valid competition to apple which is always good.. Microsoft really upped the ante with the new features, but they really should have made it a little more stable.. I'll wait till an 80 gig version of the zune comes out and maybe they'll have the majority of the bugs worked out.. As of right now, to me, it's more a great concept rather than a great product, because it's really not all there yet..

My backlight doesn't shut off either. I don't know what is causing it to do this, but does anyone know of a fix?
