EMI to Sell Music Online Without DRM System
EMI’s executives told The New-York Times that the major music company has been considering selling music online without anti-copying system or Digital Rights Management system.
EMI would become the first major music company to adopt a format making it possible to consumer to copy the songs and play them on any MP3 Player.
The company did a test in December by selling a song from Norah Hones in an unprotected format.
The pressure on music companies as reach a new high last week when Steve Jobs took a clear position against DRMs. Jobs considers that removing the DRM around iTunes’ music is the only viable option for the future of music.
Zune users are also complaining about Zune’s DRM and the Zune to Zune sharing feature limited to 3 days/3plays.

I cant wait for un-DRM'd music. It would also be nice if the Zune didnt put DRM on songs you made. GRRRRR...
So many possibilities.
