Zuneguy Says “a Few Days” Before Zune Firmware 1.3 Release

It’s been a week since Microsoft said they were not ready to release the firmware 1.3 and we’re still waiting for at least a date. Bill, the Zuneguy, wrote about it. Here’s what he had to say:

We are going to ship it. I have been personally testing it. I think users will be happy with the results. I'm happy with the results. I think it will be worth the extra few days of waiting to ship a solid release.

A few days? Let’s wait and see until the end of this week!

I think Zune fans are disappointed because they see how long it takes to release a firmware update that is mainly a bug fix while their expectations for new features are still very high.
