Meet the Zune Support Manager, Nabil Pike
The guys from Channel9 sat down with Nabil Pike, Lead Program Manager for Zune Supportability.
An interesting interview if you want to learn more about the Zune support team and the history of building the support experience for the Zune from concept to market. The interview is more than 23 minutes long.
Of course, the interview can be considered bias since it comes from Microsoft but it’s not less interesting for that. One interesting quote from Nabil Pike when he talks about the future of the Zune (timecode: 17:00 min.):
“You will see new services, new hardware, new ideas come out of the Zune team, I can’t really talk about timeframe yet but the upcoming announcements will be surprising to everybody.”
That sounds sweet to me ears! That’s nothing to lower Zune fans’ expectations though!
Have you called the Zune support yet? Did you have a good experience? A bad one? What could be improved?

I feel sorry, very sorry if anyone gets excited about another vague announcement or talk of additional anything related to the zune gen one. sorry folks I had to say it. Deep down I believe we already knew it, gen one is dead.....
On the last positive side I have begun to like video on the zune since 1.4 was released. No second reencoding for video and the finished product actually looks better then it did before the update. did they fix the video...possibly! Anyone else notice improvements to this aspect?
