The Zune Marketplace Has Been Cracked
Oups,
we haven’t seen that one coming. But it’s officially done. The Zune marketplace
DRM system has been cracked. I mean completely cracked. Busted! The FairUse4WM software
already used to strip down DRMs from other databases available on the Internet has
been updated to add the Zune Marketplace to the list of crackable DRMs. The new
version of the software can strip down the DRM lock on any song from the Zune
marketplace.
This can work for songs bought with Microsoft Points or downloaded
using the Zune Pass subscription. Most of the major gadget websites are
reporting the news as we speak.
The
hackers are saying that this is only to let people enjoy what is considered the
Fair Use of copyrighted
content. But everybody knows that the real use of this Zune hack will go beyond
this notion of Fair Use.

Im a bit slow but if it strips drm does that mean sune pass songs will not expire after a month

Lee,
You're right on. But remember that doing this is against the terms and conditions of the Zune marketplace.
