Zune Wi-Fi Games? Why Not!

Have you ever dreamed of playing Rock-Paper-Scissor or Tic-Tac-Toe on your Zune? Not me, but the idea is not that stupid at all.

Until the Zune community grows much bigger than it is right now (have we reach the 1 Million target on June 30^th? I haven’t heard about it…), the Wi-Fi feature is not really useful. But a Zunerama member, sketchy62, worked on developing games the uses the Zune Wi-Fi feature. We still don’t know if his games are going to be a success or not, but the idea isn’t bad at all. The bidirectional Wi-Fi communication between Zune players is already in place. It would be easy to develop all sorts of games that would use the benefits of that connectivity.

Here’s how sketchy62 describes his games:

)1 zCREATURE - REGISTRATION REQUIRED

zcreature is a picture sharing community based game.  where you pick up your zCreature once registered.
After becoming a member you will be open to all sections of the community.
Due to the large scale of topics to talk about, im sure that you will find an area in which it suits you.
YOUR VERY OWN zCREATURE WILL EVOLVE DEPENDING ON WHICH SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY YOU PARTICIPATE MOST IN.  therefore makin you zCreature differnt from anyone else's.

2) ztic-tac-toe **BACK TO THE DEVELOPMENT BOARD**

ztic-tac-toe will be directly accesible from the Zune Wifi Games MAIN DIRECTORY board.
where you will find a link to download the ztic-tac-toe zip file.
Download and transfer it to your zune using the zune software.

3) zRockPaperScissor

rock paper scissors , played just the way it sounds.

I was wondering, I know if someone sends you a song and it expires you can't play it anymore. If you delete that expired song from your inbox using your computer, can the person re-send you the song?

Also, I was wondering, can people send you videos and pictures via wireless?

Yes, they can re-send the song after you delete it. I don't know if this works all the time or not, but I don't delete the song i just send the song again and again until i have about five copies, then you can listen to the same song fifteen times in a three day period. They can send you pictures, but as of right now they can't send you videos.
