Blue Zune Spotted at Target
Posted by Stephane Dion
Hey guys, the
picture above comes from Target weekly ads. They’re announcing the red Zune and
what looks like a blue Zune! Is it really a new Zune color? A new color for
fall maybe?
Let's not get too excited here though. This may just be a Photoshop manipulation. Will try to get more info on this.
The same ad was published on paper. Check the picture after the break.
[Thank
you Jacob!]
UPDATE: Even though the image was really blue, Microsoft is not going to release a blue Zune. The ZuneInsider (sorta) denied the existence of a blue Zune on his blog by writing: "I've seen a good amount of speculation about a blue Zune - with lots of folks taking it with a grain of salt. That's a good call."

Not blue, just bad lighting, Officemax did the same thing to the brown back when it came out, remember the "Copper" Zune?

That's pretty bad lighting if you ask me. But either way, the ad does not specifically list "blue" as a variant. Sure does look good though.
And btw, it was Office Depot with the copper zune. That's the description they even gave it in the text. However, that "lighting issue" is certainly not that pronounce as copper can be conceived as such (e.g. tarnished and dull penny).

ummmmm.... "Copper" was never given as a description in that ad. Try getting your facts straight the next time ;)

Uhh yeah it was. Can't find a scan of the print ads online. But a quick google does show Zune community sites talking about a page on Office Depot's site that described it as copper.

Anyhow, clarification of this news post. I looked at the Target ad and the "blue" is just the black w/ blue doubleshot.
