Cnet Prizefight: Zune 80 Vs. iPod Classic

It looks like Cnet has done another one of their infamous Prize fights, this time, pitting the iPod and the Zune in the ring. Read through the prizefight to see who the winner is!  Is it iPod or Zune? They have been at battle before, but these are the new contenders. i still consider that a win for the Zune. it's like electoral vote vs popular vote. and a tie and a win is better than a tie and a loss.

plus the sheer fact that microsoft's sophomore effort has 'tied' the ever-reigning champ is a victory in itself.

Yeah, I still also considered the zune to win, seeing as it won every category except for compatibility, you would almost think they gave it a tie on purpose, seems unlikely they would give them a tie. I think they may have done it so that the fans of either player wouldn't make flame wars in the forum, but I think they already have caused some by not giving the most clear decision in it all, because Ipod fans are like "Ipod should have won because..." and Zune fans are like "Zune should have won because...", so I think it can still just as easily start flamewars.

yeah i think that the zune really takes the cake. i mean, if the only category the zune lost in was compatibility (its really easy to get around the issues in this area), then its really all zune. its generally accepted by this point that the zune 80 edges out or even trumps the ipod classic.

well if they would just have had 1 out of 10 i think the zune would have one compatibilty come on how many mac users are not a fanboy of the ipod so making it mac compatible for 20 people isnt worth it. I think Sound and science it got robbed some points over battery life sorry i dont go without charging for over a day so doesnt apply the touch pad is as good or even better than the ipods wheel of dislocated thumb Zunes better earphones give it a 6 alone Zune weighs less and is heavier duty From what it seems the zune would last longer in a true fight give it a couple more rounds lol
