In 2008, guests at the new Hotel Sax Chicago will find a new level of excitement that will stimulate their minds and amplify their hotel experience. "The Studio - experience by Microsoft" is a new entertainment lounge that offers guests the chance to experience the newest and most exciting entertainment and guest service technologies from Microsoft.

As part of its $25+ million renovation into one of the city's top luxury destinations, the Hotel Sax Chicago has joined forces with Microsoft's experiential branding team to provide unique technological amenities throughout the hotel. Providing a new level of value-added services, the most recent addition, The Studio - experience by Microsoft, is located on the hotel's sixth floor and is only accessible to hotel guests. It is open between 4pm and Midnight, seven days a week at no charge. This one-of-a-kind lounge features high-end laptop computers, Microsoft Zune MP3 players, Xbox gaming consoles, HD television screens, surround sound, movies and more.

It comes complete with a technology butler for the ultimate tech hotel experience.  If your Zune is getting lonely, and wants to squirt some tracks, then this just might be the ticket.

I had a chance to check this out at Hotel Sax last weekend. The studio was a blast...finally a hotel game room that doesnt allow kids. They even serve beer! Killer setup, and Zune's everywhere. Link to the Studio page of the Hotel Sax Chicago website.

My husband is currently spending Monday-Friday in Chicago prior to our move this summer. His firm has put him up in the Hotel Sax, and I swear I think he wants to move in there! With the stress of the upcoming move, being away from his family, and pure boredom. he has found so much enjoyment in the 6th floor "The Studio"!! He can play his favorite games, socialize with other people who actually know what he is talking about, and even get a good meal. Not what I would cook, of course, but a whole lot healthier than fast food options. Honestly, I am thankful to this great hotel. It has helped make this very hard situation easier for my husband, and it's a great stress relief for him. Maybe when we move, I'll go and stay a weekend and let him watch the kids for awhile! Ya think they have Frogger? Ha Ha!
