Aglar Video to Zune Software recommended by ClicZune. I just downloaded it and gave it a try. I would not recommend this software from the experience I just had. While trying to read directly from a DVD I came up with read errors again and again. I then tried reading DVDs on my HD that I had already used my DVDfab Decrypted software to rip into my computer, ready to burn a copy. This worked, somewhat. Individual files were selected and copied and I assume they work. Before converting began a window popped up and gave the warning about unregistered software. This was in typical broken English. Then the progress bar appeared, which was nothing more than a flashing bar that showed no real progress.
But I enjoy the ability to copy entire DVDs without needing to selecting or creating multiple files for my Zune. I use PQDVD to Zune Converter which is half the price of Aglare Video software which will cost you over $60. PQDVD let’s me select the DVD and automatically fast forwards past any introductions, previews or adds with video monitoring and a real progress bar with precise time measurements of completion. And not only can you select the quality of video (frames per second) and audio (KHz), you can also select screen resolution, and auto stretch from 16:9 to 4:3. An additional feature is cropping the frame with 6 choices. There are many more options I am not able to list here and now. I have used this software for over a year now with both the 30 and the 80 Zune with no problems on either XP or Vista.

Thanks for the recommendation of Mediacoder Jeremy.
Thanks for sharing your experience here Mike, and too bad it didn't work out. There's too much buggy video software out there already, and we really don't need anymore of it. I'll take a look at PQDVD when I get around to it. I'm still retagging tracks so it won't be too soon.
