Latest Penny Arcade comic featuring the Zune HD

In a little bit of lighter Zune related information, the Penny Arcade has offered up a comic that features, and sort of pokes fun at the Zune HD. While I hate to see the Zune being badmouthed, it is nice to see it being discussed a little more frequently lately because as I am sure the readers here will agree with me when I say the Zune along with the Zune Pass is wonderful.

The comic, which comes along with a nice back story in the form of a blog post reveals a little reason of the back story behind the comic although I think it can be best summed up with this bit.

"Anyway, I think I might actually have something like anticipation fatigue for this E3. That's where you get something asinine like this comic - my enthusiasm is utterly wrung out. The suspense has been punctured by so many leaks, sneak peeks, and early trailers released to escape the din of the show itself that this once glorious gaming holiday has essentially been sold for parts."

Even as a Zune fan, I can understand the reasoning, after all, even though rumors and speculation are fun, after a while it just becomes old, but thankfully the Zune HD has been officially announced.
