Unconfirmed release date: Zune HD to begin shipping on September 5

Assuming this is an accurate bit of information, it looks like we can expect to see the Zune HD begin shipping on September 5. I say assuming because in this case the date has come from a reliable source, however the statement did not sound all that firm.

Anyway, Paul Thurrott has said that;

"I can’t recall if I had stated this date explicitly before, but I have been told that Zune HD will ship on September 5, 2009."

Now we can sit back, wait and hope. Of course, it would be nice to see it drop a little earlier.
